Overview & History

The MENA Club at London Business School was founded in 2002 with the aim of introducing students to the region, its markets, and its cultures. Today, the Club has a community of over 3,000 current students and alumni and hosts a wide range of events throughout the academic year, including career presentations, speaker talks, and social gatherings.

Vision & Mission

To be the leading platform at London Business School for engagement with the MENA region, connecting students and alumni to the region and building enduring ties.

The Club exists to introduce students to the region and its markets, support career development related to the region, and foster a strong community of students and alumni connected to the region. It does so through professional, academic, and social programming, partnerships with institutions and employers, and by serving as a bridge between London Business School and the MENA region.

Activities

The Club’s activities focus on three core areas. It supports career development by helping students access professional opportunities in the region through employer engagement and targeted networking, serves as a platform for high-level dialogue through its flagship Annual MENA Conference and speaker events connecting LBS with the region, and  promotes cultural and market immersion through its annual career and cultural treks and selected community events.
