Hani Tohme is a Senior Partner and the Middle East Head of
Sustainability at Kearney. He leads transformative environmental and
circular economy strategies for governments and corporations. With
over 17 years of consulting experience, he has been at the forefront of
designing and implementing sustainability frameworks that bridge
ecological responsibility with economic growth thus maximizing
resilience at national and business levels.
Hani’s expertise spans waste and water management, biodiversity,
and environmental solutions. He has played a pivotal role in developing
national sustainability agendas, supporting government-to-government
agreements, and structuring investment opportunities in the
environmental sector. His work includes integrating sustainability into
corporate business models and advising sovereign wealth funds on
diversifying into sustainable & resilient investments.
Recently, Hani assumed the leadership of PERLab in the Middle East,
a unique asset of Kearney that investigates product design, cost
optimization & localization of technology. This activity has given Hani
further leverage to push for resilient supply chain solutions, and
maximize business continuity through sustainability

Rusha Al-Rawaf is ACWA Power’s Chief Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Officer, overseeing the Sustainability and CSR, Institutional Relations, and Corporate Communications departments. In her role, she works closely with the management team and various functions to maximise the business’ short, medium, and long-term profitability.
As a seasoned marketing and communications executive, she is multilingual and adept in diverse cultural environments. Rusha also has a proven track record in elevating corporate value through strategic roles and global operations and combines a strong technical background with effective leadership skills, driving strategic alignment and cohesive team dynamics. Her expertise spans impactful marketing initiatives and corporate communication strategies, tailored to the needs of the energy sector.
She has held senior positions at a number of renowned institutions in the Kingdom and abroad, including stc and Aramco. In previous roles, Rusha has been responsible for leading teams and crafting messaging strategies, as well as managing brand positioning and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
Rusha holds an executive MBA from London Business School and a PhD from University of California, Santa Barbara, blending academic knowledge with practical, innovative solutions in communication and sustainability.

Ahmed AlJameel is an energy and climate policy researcher at the Centre for Environmental Policy at Imperial College London. His work focuses on market-based mechanisms that can accelerate the uptake of alternative drop-in fuels for aviation decarbonisation. His research brings together climate policy design, energy economics, international market frameworks, and demand-pull finance, with a regional focus on the Middle East and North Africa and the Global South.
Ahmed also serves as a Lead Author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and is a nominated expert under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Previously, Ahmed worked as a Climate Policy Expert at the Ministry of Energy of Saudi Arabia, where he focused on climate change and participated as a negotiator at COP26 in Glasgow, COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, and COP28 in Dubai. He has also worked in international policy and finance, including advising the board of the Green Climate Fund (GCF), and was a research fellow at OPEC in Vienna, where he studied the impacts of carbon pricing on global energy demand and prices.

Thomas is a two-time venture backed climate tech founder turned climate tech VC at Endgame Capital. He has worked at the world’s largest independent environmental organisation working on supply chain decarbonisation and holds an MSc in Climate Change. Thomas is also a startup mentor on several programmes including Techstars, The Greenhouse (Imperial College London’s flagship climate tech accelerator), and Carbon13.
