Meet our panelists

Chris Corbishley - Manager Partner & CIO, BNVT Capital

Chris Corbishley is Managing Partner of BNVT Capital, a global venture fund investing in AI companies tackling large-scale structural challenges. He has spent over a decade building one of the most distinguished track records in European venture. His earliest-stage investments have generated multiple billion-dollar outcomes, with portfolio companies going on to raise from Sequoia, Lightspeed, and ICONIQ.

Before founding BNVT, Chris scaled the venture platform at Hedosophia into a multi-billion-dollar AUM firm through high-conviction investments in companies like Pennylane, Marshmallow, and Payhawk - part of a career focused on financial services innovation since 2009.

As CIO, Chris brings a data-driven approach to identifying outlier opportunities across the venture landscape. His global investment thesis, developed alongside Professor Josh Lerner of Harvard Business School and fund-of-funds investor Vencap International, has already yielded standout results: within two years of deployment, early portfolio companies including Swap ($100M Series C) and Cloover ($1.2BN in financing) are emerging as category-defining businesses.

Chris holds a PhD from Imperial College London. He has also led the Applied AI thesis at a BlackRock-backed fund and launched the London Stock Exchange's ELITE programme, connecting the UK's most promising technology companies to global capital markets.
